Description of the project
The Marketing department of OMV Bulgaria aimed to get a clear picture of their customers’ behavior. OMV Bulgaria chose Business Objects in order to:
- Improve purchasing, forecasting, and distribution management;
- Optimize product profitability, dramatically increase effectiveness, and reduce marketing campaign costs;
- Identify and segment customers to enable retention strategies;
- Integrate management and financial reporting to improve performance;
- Reduce and control operational costs through optimized store performance;
- Effectively service customers throughout the multichannel network.
BTS Ltd. started Controlling project – data summarization, analysis and monitoring of the company results – data communication between SAP and BI, migration of all small reporting systems in OMV Bulgaria to BI for better analysis. With the BI deployment, the company got control of the vast amount of data, to be used for its marketing and management needs.
